On September 5, Legislators stopped by Cottage Grove City Hall to learn about the proposed HERO Center. The HERO Center would be the only inter-governmental Public Safety training facility located in the east metro. The project supports the state’s increased investment in mandated police training. The facility will create opportunities for hosting community based safety education and training such as CPR, gun safety, and recreational vehicle safety trainings.
